Firebase Dynamic Links migration

Move app links to an active routing service.

Firebase Dynamic Links shut down on August 25, 2025. LimeLink provides deferred deep links for iOS and Android apps, including Flutter and React Native integrations.

Migration sequence

  1. Export or inventory existing links, destination rules, domains, and campaign parameters.
  2. Create a LimeLink Project and configure the matching iOS and Android Applications.
  3. Configure Universal Links, Android App Links, store destinations, and web fallbacks.
  4. Replace application SDK handling with the maintained LimeLink SDK for each platform.
  5. Create replacement Links and verify installed, store, first-launch, and fallback journeys.
  6. Update published URLs and monitor traffic during cutover.

Routing coverage

  • iOS Universal Links and deferred destinations
  • Android App Links and install referrer handling
  • Flutter and React Native integrations
  • App Store, Google Play, and web fallback destinations
  • Default-domain Links on Free and Custom Domains on Pro

Start with your current link inventory

Map every existing public URL to its app, store, and web destinations before creating replacements. Preserve only campaign parameters your application reads and verify destination allowlists in the receiving app.
